Infectious asthma is asthma caused by bacteria that lingers after being exposed to it when you've gotten a cold, flu, bronchitis or pneumonia. The bacteria, mycoplasma and chlamydia pneumoniae, can live in the tissue of your sinuses and lungs for a long time unless it's eradicated with the right protocol of antibiotics, and can cause ongoing sinus infections and/or asthma.
